Life Changing Inventions

 I was sent a video the other day that this memory would never be possible without the invention of the video camera. I have drawers full of dat tapes from a camera I purchased many years ago. I rarely watch any of them because my camera died before the invention of dat tape to computer so the only way I can come up with to watch them requires a couple of hours attaching the right cables to the right plug ins to the right TV input. Sigh.... some day I will find the time. In the mean time I hope you enjoy this walk down memory lane as much as I did.    I remember we had to load the 20ft Mushroom bar in by massive crane before we put the roof on, the table clothes were imported from Malaysia and not easy to replace so we had to have special glass made to cover them, the bar stools were all individually made. Size Does Matter But....

 I am mostly in denial about the fact that I am going blind and buttons are becoming more and more of an issue with me...the fact is I can no longer tell the difference between the comma and the period when typing a pre written sentence. The only way I know for sure is if a capital letter follows. Thank god most of the typing I have to do these days is what is coming out of my head and in that instance it is not a problem. CTA buttons in my world are mostly the same size and always easy to find but my favorite buttons these days are on my remote controls and I got them down no matter which one I am using.

Something Smells a little off in these ads? Kmart Gas Attacks   These ads might just smell a little rotten to most viewers i n this world of cancel culture, political correctness and no one that can take a joke anymore. Some people may have found these ads totally  inappropriate. To each there own. 😎 I thought it was gut splittingly funny and I can't stop watching it. 😆 I wish I could have found info on how it all worked out for Kmart in terms of sales.

  The positive effects of Digitalization on today’s generation? From my background in the world of souvenirs, brand merchandising and music, the word digitalization was so close to digitization I was totally going down the wrong path. Then I reread the word and spelling and thought WTH is that!? Digitization  is the process of converting from analog to digital form. I would have pictures or logos digitized to a computer disk for embroidery machines. My former Husband would have his music recordings converted to sound waves for computer editing. I totally get this But….   Digitalization on  social life  – in other words, how people interact. As such interactions move away from analog technologies (snail mail, telephone calls) to digital ones (email, chat, social media), both work and leisure domains become digitalized.   - this was the least user friendly thing I have ever had to figure out. Could be my flu but I have built easier websites. Oh ya I guess I should have watched the video instead of talking on the phone while I played it.🤷‍♀️
